DHANUSH'S 'RAAYAN' TO RELEASE IN JUNE

One of the most awaited films of the year is Dhanush-starrer 'Raayan', which is also his second directorial film. While we had earlier reported that film is expected to release in June, the makers have now officially confirmed that the film will hit the screens in June 2024.

Interestingly, the first single from the film which has music by AR Rahman will be released on May 9, 2024.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film is said to be a gangster drama centred around three brothers, played by Dhanush, Kalidas Jayaram and Sundeep Kishan. While the filming was wrapped up by December 2023, the post production is going on in full swing.

Dhanush himself is playing the lead role in what is said to be a gangster revenge drama set in the backdrop of North Chennai. The film also stars Selvaraghavan, SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Saravanan and many others.
