ZENDAYA EARNED $10 MILLION FOR STARRING IN AND PRODUCING CHALLENGERS: REPORT

Hollywood actor Zendaya continues to make waves in the entertainment industry, as evidenced by her substantial earnings for the upcoming film 'Challengers'.

According to a Variety report, Zendaya secured a staggering $10 million salary for both starring in and producing the tennis-based movie. Originally slated for release earlier, the film faced a setback due to the actors' strike, prompting Amazon MGM to delay its premiere to 2024. However, eager fans can mark their calendars for April 26, the new release date for 'Challengers.'

In an interview with Variety, Zendaya offered insights into the film's depth, explaining that while tennis serves as the backdrop, the narrative delves into themes of power and codependency. She portrays Tashi Duncan, the central character embroiled in a complex love triangle with her husband Art Donaldson, played by Mike Faist, and ex Patrick Zweig, portrayed by Josh O’Connor.

Beyond her on-screen role, Zendaya is also taking on the role of producer for ‘Challengers', alongside Amy Pascal, Rachel O'Connor, and Guadagnino. Reflecting on her transition into producing, Zendaya shared her growing appreciation for working behind the camera, citing confidence gained from collaborating with director Luca Guadagnino.
