Apple’s "Let Loose" launch event, where the company is expected to announce new iPad Air and iPad Pro models, is just around the corner. This is the last of its kind, and it is the most affordable iPad that Apple currently sells. Featuring a home button and old-school design, the 9th Gen iPad (review) costs Rs 32,900 and is powered by the A13 Bionic processor. This is meant for those who need an entry-level iPad for tasks like attending online classes, video streaming and web browsing. It's still only compatible with the first-generation Apple Pencil.

This is the latest basic iPad (review) that Apple sells. It looks just like an iPad Air with a few compromises. Available for Rs 39,900, this device is based on the A14 Bionic chip and offers a bezel-less design and a power button with an integrated Touch ID sensor. It is also the cheapest iPad with a USB-C port and supports faster data transfer compared to the 9th Gen iPad. This device also supports Apple Pencil for taking notes and making sketches. It also has a 12 MP selfie camera in landscape position, making it a great device for video conferencing.

The iPad mini (review) is like a miniature iPad Air but with an A15 Bionic chip. This iPad also has a modern design with a USB-C port and comes with an 8.3-inch 60Hz refresh rate display with a P3 colour gamut. It also comes with an anti-reflective coating and starts at Rs 49,900. If you are looking for a compact iPad that can shoot 4K videos, offers the latest iPadOS experience and is also easy to carry around, then the iPad mini is the one to consider.

The Apple iPad Air (review) is for those who need a really powerful iPad that does not cost a lot. Powered by the M1 chip, which also powered MacBooks, this iPad featuring a 10.9-inch screen retails for 59,900 and comes in multiple colours. This is a great iPad to play high-fidelity games and video rendering. It can do almost anything that an iPad Pro can do without any issues.

Apple offers the iPad Pro in two sizes (11 inches and 12.9 inches), with the larger tablet featuring a mini-LED display, and the latest iPad Pro models are equipped with the M2 chip, making them as powerful as most laptops. The 11-inch iPad Pro currently costs Rs 81,990, while the 12.9-inch model is priced at Rs 1,12,900. These are cutting-edge iPads, which can easily replace a laptop, especially when paired with accessories like Magic Keyboard. On top of that, they also have a dual-camera system at the back along with a LiDAR sensor.
