Google's Pixel 9 series may have three models with different screen sizes. Apart from the regular Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro, the company might also launch the Pixel 9 Pro XL, a suffix the tech giant dropped with the Pixel 6 series.

According to a recent report by the known tipster @OnLeaks in collaboration with 91mobiles, the previous renders, which the tipster thought were the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, are actually the Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

The new report also gives us a first look at what might be the vanilla Pixel 9. Like the Pixel 9 Pro, which was leaked earlier in January this year, the Pixel 9 will have a compact body with a thick Pixel fold-like rounded camera island that looks like a Google search bar instead of the Pixel 8's pill-like design.

The leaked renders also suggest the phone will have a dual camera setup without a telephoto lens. The power and volume keys are located on the right side of the phone and in terms of dimensions, the Pixel 9 will be 8.5mm thick. It will have a 6.03-inch screen and will support the Qi2 protocol that lets users charge their phone wirelessly at 15W.

As for the Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL, the renders hint that these models will come with 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch displays. If true, this might mean that the XL variant will have a slightly smaller screen compared to the Pixel 8 Pro's 6.7-inch display. Both Pro models are expected to feature a triple camera setup with a primary camera, an ultrawide sensor and a telephoto periscope lens.

While we now have a good idea of how the Pixel 9 series might look like, there is not much information about the hardware except that it will most likely be powered by the unannounced Tensor G4 chipset and run on Android 15 out of the box.
