IQOO Z9X 5G CHIPSET DETAILS CONFIRMED AHEAD OF LAUNCH ON MAY 16
iQoo has confirmed that it is launching a new smartphone in India on May 16. The smartphone will succeed the iQOO Z9 5G, which was launched in India in March 2024. Confirmed to be called the iQOO Z9X 5G, the smartphone has been teased to feature a large battery life. Official teasers from the company carry a "Full Day Fully Loaded" slogan in the promotional tweets. The same was also shared by the company CEO Nipun Marya. Ahead of the launch event, a few details about the smartphone have also been confirmed.
In the latest teaser shared by the company, it has been confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.Â
The iQOO Z9X 5G has also been listed on the Amazon India website, which means that it will be exclusively sold online via the e-commerce platform. While the listing does not reveal many details about the smartphone, teasers do reveal some design details. For instance, we can tell by the promotional images of the iQOO Z9X 5G shared by the company that it will sport a dual camera setup at the rear. The images also show that the phone will feature the green colour and a lined finish similar to the iQOO Z9 5G. Additionally, the iQOO Z9X 5G will also be available in a black colour variant.Â
The only design difference we notice between the iQOO Z9 and iQOO Z9X is that the former has a green colour camera housing, whereas the latter had a distinct black colour one ââ even in the green variant.
