The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra could soon launch in India as the Edge 50 Pro is confirmed to make its India debut on April 3. While there is no official confirmation on the Ultra model, the company could bring both the models on the same day. A report from Android Headlines reveals key details about the upcoming Motorola Edge 50 Ultra. The leaked images show the device's lock screen with an 'April 3' date. In a strategic move, Motorola has already confirmed the launch of the Edge 50 Pro in India on April 3, adding weight to speculation that the Ultra variant and possibly the Edge 50 Fusion will join the unveiling.

Design-wise, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra mirrors the aesthetic of its Pro counterpart, with leaked renders showcasing black and peach variants featuring a faux leather back panel, housing a glossy rectangular rear camera module. Conversely, the beige option boasts a textured rear panel.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is rumoured to sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by a 75mm periscope lens offering 5x optical zoom. The rest of the details are currently unknown. The device is expected to feature a curved OLED display, housing a centred hole-punch slot for the front camera sensor. 

Motorola Edge 50 Pro: Specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a 6.7-inch pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. The panel even has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, which is also set to power the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 device. The Moto phone runs on the latest Android 14 OS. The mid-range 5G phone will get 3 years of Android OS updates.

It has a leather finish at the back and a triple camera system. The setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera and one more sensor, the name of which is currently unknown. Motorola has also given support for the IP68 rating. On the front is a 50-megapixel sensor, as per Flipkart listing. Under the hood, there is a 4,500mAh battery with support for 125W wired charging. However, the company bundles only 68W adapter in the box.
