TAARAK MEHTA KA OOLTAH CHASHMAH ACTOR GURUCHARAN SINGH MISSING SINCE FOUR DAYS, FATHER FILES COMPLAINT: REPORTS

Actor Gurucharan Singh, who featured on the hugely popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Sodhi, has reportedly gone missing. According to reports, Gurucharan has gone missing from the Delhi airport.

The actor was supposed to land in Mumbai, which he did not. Gurucharan also didn't even return back home, causing the family to file a a missing complaint, reported ETimes,

According to the publication, the complaint was lodged by Gurucharan's father, who said that the 50-year-old actor had left for the Delhi airport at 8:30 am on April 22 to go to Mumbai.

"He didn't reach Mumbai, neither has he returned home and his phone is not reachable. He is mentally stable and we had been searching for him but now he has been missing," the report read.

Several cast members Indianexpress.com reached out to hoped the actor would be found. Nehta Mehta, who played Anjali Mehta on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, said, "Only prayers 🙏 🙌" while Amit Bhatt, who plays Bapuji, sent his prayers for Gurucharan's well-being.

Gurucharan Singh, who was last seen on the TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah as Roshan Singh Sodhi, had quit the series due to his father's health. Further details are awaited.
