GOOGLE LAYOFFS: COMPANY PENS DOWN REASONS AND OTHER CLARIFICATIONS FOR JOB CUTS

"This streamlining allows employees more chances to contribute to our most groundbreaking advancements and company priorities while reducing bureaucracy and organizational layers."

Google clarified that these layoffs are not indicative of widespread downsizing, but rather strategic organisational shifts.
