NORTHERN RAILWAY ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY CHANGES IN TRAIN SCHEDULE, DELHI-AMBALA TRAIN SERVICES AFFECTED – HERE’S WHY

The Northern Railway on Tuesday (April 30) informed that several trains are going to be rescheduled, cancelled, short-terminated and diverted in the first week of May. Due to the ongoing work on the extension of loop lines at Nilokheri station o­n Delhi- Ambala section over Delhi Division timings of several trains are changed. 

“It is notified for the information of the general public that due to extension of loop lines at Nilokheri station o­n Delhi- Ambala section over Delhi Division, the following trains shall remain temporarily cancelled/ diverted/short terminated /originate/rescheduled/regulated,” the Northern Railway said in a statement.

4 trains cancelled 

  1. 14053 Delhi- Daulatpur Chowk express JCO 30.4.2024, 01.05.2024, 02.05.2024, 03.05.2024
  2. 14054 Daulatpur Chowk – Delhi JCO 01.05.2024, 02.05.2024, 03.05.2024, 04.05.2024.
  3. 04176 Panipat – Ambala Cantt. JCO 01.5.2024,02.05.2024
  4. 04140 Ambala Cantt. – Kurukshetra JCO 02.05.2024, 03.05.2024

5 trains diverted

  1. 15707 Katihar – Amritsar JCO 29.4.2024, 30.04.2024 will be diverted to run via Jakhal-Dhuri-Ludhiana.
  2. 11905 Agra Cantt – Hoshiarpur JCO 02.05.2024 will be diverted via Hazrat Nizamuddin-Ghaziabad-Meerut City -Saharanpur –Ambala Cantt.
  3. 11077 Pune-Jammu Tawi JCO 01.05.2024 will be diverted via Jakhal-Dhuri-Ludhiana.
  4. 12266 Jammu Tawi-Delhi Sarai Rohilla JCO 02.05.2024 will be diverted via Ludhiana – Dhuri – Jakhal
  5. 12312 Kalka-Howrah JCO 02.05.2024 & 03.05.2024 will be diverted via Ambala Cantt – Saharanpur – Meerut City -KHURJA.

3 trains rescheduled

  1. 12983 Ajmer – Chandigarh JCO 30.4.2024 will be rescheduled by 120 minutes.
  2. 14034 Katra- Delhi JCO 02.05.2024 & 03.05.2024 will be rescheduled by 150 minutes.
  3. 12414 Jammu Tawi- Ajmer JCO 02.05.2024 & 03.05.2024 will be rescheduled by 120 minutes.

4 trains regulated

  1. 14217 Prayagraj Sangam – Chandigarh JCO 30.04.2024, 01.05.2024 will be regulated by 20 minutes enroute.
  2. 11057 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Amritsar JCO 30.04.2024 will be regulated by 45 minutes enroute.
  3. 12919 Dr. Ambedkar Nagar-Katra JCO 01.05.2024 will be regulated by 30 minutes enroute.
  4. 18310 Jammu Tawi – Sambalpur JCO 02.05.2024 & 03.05.2024 will be regulated by 30 minutes enroute.

2 trains short terminated

  1. 04178  Kurukshetra- Delhi JCO 02.05.2024 &03.05.2024 will short originate from Panipat.
  2. 04405 Hazrat Nizamuddin- Kurukshetra JCO 01.05.2024 & 02.05.2024 will be short terminated at Panipat. Consequently 04406 Kurukshetra- Hazrat Nizamuddin JCO 02.05.2024 & 03.05.2024 will short originate from Panipat.
