The virtual meet is scheduled Thursday and on April 1 and 2, Army Commanders and senior officers will attend the conference. Amid the current situation in the Ladakh region with the continuing military standoff with China along the Line of Actual Control and a spate of terror attacks in J&K last year, officials said that deployment changes in eastern Ladakh as well as in areas south of the Pir Panjal range in J&K will be discussed and plans are likely to be finalised in the conference.

The biannual conference serves as a platform for the Army’s senior leadership to reassess the overall security situation and other HR and policy issues.
