Char Dham Yatra 2024: Religious fervor starts when people speak about Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri. No matter what the age is, Indians never skip a chance to visit these religious places for spiritual solace.
According to recent reports, Lord Kedarnath's Panchmukhi Doli departed for Kedarnath Dham from its third stop Gauramai Temple Gaurikund on May 6th at 8.30 am. The Devdoli reached Shri Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath from Shri Vishwanath Temple Guptkashi for its stay and reached its second stop Phata on May 7th. The Panchmukhi Doli reached Gauramaata Temple Gaurikund late in the evening on 8th May.
Adding more information to this Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) President Ajendra Ajay said, "The preparations for the opening of the doors are going on in full swing and the temple is being decorated with 40 quintals of flowers,"
The Char Dham Yatra, a significant pilgrimage in Hinduism, commences on May 10 this year. The doors of three of the four shrines—Gangotri, Yamunotri, and Kedarnath—will open on this auspicious day. The final shrine, Badrinath, will open its doors on May 12. Pilgrims traditionally complete this sacred journey in a clockwise direction, starting from Yamunotri and concluding at Badrinath.
