ANAND MAHINDRA VOWS TO HELP 10-YEAR-OLD DELHI BOY SEEN IN VIRAL VIDEO SELLING ROLLS

In a heartwarming tale that captured the attention of netizens, a 10-year-old boy found selling rolls on the bustling streets of Delhi has become an internet sensation. The story came to light through a viral video shared by food vlogger Sarabjeet Singh, with the handle mrsinghfoodhunter on Instagram, who encountered the child in west Delhi's Tilak Nagar while he was skillfully preparing chicken egg rolls.

The touching narrative took a turn when it was revealed that the boy, identified as Jaspreet, had taken over his father's street-side stall following the latter's demise due to brain tuberculosis. Witnessing Jaspreet's resilience and determination, industrialist Anand Mahindra stepped forward to offer his support to the young entrepreneur.

Mahindra, who celebrated his 68th birthday last week, reached out to obtain the boy's contact information. He expressed his intention for the Mahindra Foundation to investigate avenues through which they can assist in supporting Jaspreet's education.

"Courage, thy name is Jaspreet/ But his education shouldn’t suffer. I believe, he’s in Tilak Nagar, Delhi. If anyone has access to his contact number please do share it," Anand Mahindra wrote on X (formerly Twitter), after watching the video.
