DIJAK'S FUTURE IN WWE REMAINS UNCERTAIN POST 2024 WWE DRAFT

NEW DELHI: The 2024 WWE Draft has concluded, but there's uncertainty surrounding the contract renewal of one of the WWE Raw draftees.

During this year's WWE Draft, several talents from WWE NXT were selected to join either Raw or WWE SmackDown. Wrestlers like Blair Davenport and Carmelo Hayes are set to join SmackDown, while Kiana James, Ilja Dragunov, Lyra Valkyria, and Dijak are headed to "Raw." Despite being drafted to Raw, Dijak's future in WWE remains uncertain, as his contract is reportedly set to expire in June.

According to reports from Fightful Select, as of Tuesday morning, Dijak had not signed a new deal with WWE nor had he been approached by WWE officials about a potential renewal. However, both parties are reportedly expecting a deal to eventually be reached. The report also mentioned that WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Triple H Levesque and WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels have both personally supported Dijak.

Regarding Dijak's upcoming move to Raw, WWE's creative team has not finalized plans for him. Nonetheless, they have reportedly pitched several ideas leading up to his call-up on night two of the WWE Draft.

After the dissolution of the Retribution stable, Dijak returned to the NXT brand in November 2022 under the name Dijak. Since then, he has feuded with wrestlers like Joe Gacy, Tony D'Angelo, and Ilja Dragunov. Now, Dijak is poised to embark on the next chapter of his WWE career with an imminent return to the main roster.
