Drake's Toronto mansion has become the focus of a police investigation after a shooting early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred outside the Canadian rapper's home in Bridle Path at about 2:10 a.m. local time, according to CBS News. Toronto Police said in an announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter, that a victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle.

Authorities stated to CityNews that the injured person was not Drake, but TMZ reported that the victim was a member of Drake's security team. The police confirmed that the man sustained a gunshot wound to the upper chest. It appears that the shooting was a drive-by attack.

Police confirm to @CityNewsTO that Drake was NOT the man injured.”

The incident comes amid Drake's ongoing feud with Lamar, triggered by Lamar's diss track, which claimed that Drake has a secret daughter and referred to him as a gambling and drug addict, according to USA Today. This shooting has added to concerns over Drake's mansion, which has been a topic of much discussion recently. The opulent property is also featured on the cover of Lamar's track Not Like Us.
