HOLLOMAN AFB CRASH: F-16 FIGHTER JET DOWN OUTSIDE AIR FORCE BASE IN OTERO COUNTY, NEW MEXICO

An F-16 fighter jet reportedly crashed outside Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico. The Emergency responders were spotted on the site where the crash happened in Otero County. Local media reports suggested that the pilots inside the jet safely ejected mid-air. However, these reports could not be confirmed. Officials from the military rescue recovery also joined the crews at the reported incident near White Sands National Park.

It is not clear what caused the crash near White Sands National Park in New Mexico. However, initial reports indicated that those inside the F-16 safely ejected from the aircraft. The pilot(s) have been transported to a local hospital. They reportedly are getting treatment after sustaining minor to non-life-threatening injuries. Crash recovery operations are currently underway.
