There are so many stunning Morrissey photos out there, but this one will always be particularly special to me because it’s the first one I recall ever seeing and being completely mesmerised by - plus it was printed in the most recent issue of Smash Hits at the time I was born. Of course it’s all speculative, except for the very first one (since Morrissey himself admitted it was written about Johnny), and perhaps the second as well, since Johnny’s said many times that he thinks it’s about their relationship, but you could probably read something “slashy” into these tracks:
