The incident occurred during the match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Wednesday, where the Capitals emerged victorious by a margin of four runs. Dar, aged 24, was found guilty of breaching a Level 1 offence as per Article 2.5 of the IPL's Code of Conduct, which pertains to "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from another player".

"Dar committed a Level 1 offence under Article 2.5 of the IPL's Code of Conduct. He admitted to the offence and accepted the Match Referee's sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee's decision is final and binding," the IPL said in a statement on Thursday.

Rasikh delivered an impressive performance with the ball during DC's hard-fought victory on Wednesday night, claiming figures of 3/44 from four overs. He notably dismissed B Sai Sudarshan, Shahrukh Khan and R Sai Kishore.

Hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, Rasikh's cricketing journey, which commenced in 2018, has seen him feature in only two first-class and seven List A matches thus far. Despite his limited experience, he was entrusted with the pivotal task of bowling the 19th over when GT required 37 runs from 12 balls.

Although he conceded 18 runs in that critical over, Rasikh made a significant impact by dismissing Sai Kishore with a skillfully executed in-swinging yorker, which played a key role in slowing down the Titans' momentum.
