''THAT'S NOT GOOD MANAGEMENT AT ALL'', BRETT LEE BLAMES LSG FOR MAYANK YADAV'S INJURY

Brett Lee has raised serious concerns about Mayank Yadav's recurring injury, placing blame on the management of the LSG team for his fitness struggles. Lee emphasized the risks inherent in pushing one's body to the limit, particularly for a fast bowler like Yadav, known for bowling speeds exceeding 150 kmph. In his comeback game, Yadav had to leave the field before completing his fourth over, echoing the same issue that sidelined him for over three weeks earlier. Super Giants coach Justin Langer noted that the 21-year-old pace sensation is experiencing discomfort in the same area, indicating ongoing concerns. Despite returning to action against Mumbai, Yadav was unable to fulfill his four-over quota, raising further questions about his fitness and management strategies.

"A side strain or whatever they're calling it, normally takes at least four to six weeks to even come right. We don't know the depths of how big a strain it was but for somebody who is pushing the limits of their body by bowling 150 kmph, that's not good management at all. His first game coming back and getting injured, has to directly be on the leadership and the medical staff of the Lucknow Super Giants," Brett Lee, JioCinema TATA IPL expert, on Mayank Yadav's injury.

Mayank Yadav's setback in his first game back not only clouds his immediate IPL future but also sparks concerns about his availability for the upcoming World Cup. Brett Lee expressed regret over the situation, sympathizing with the young cricketer. He stressed the necessity of adequate guidance and injury prevention measures to mitigate such setbacks.

"The only person who has to bear this burden is poor young Mayank, who is truly electric. Everyone in the IPL has relished witnessing his talents... You just hope he receives the right guidance so he can avoid enduring this. Now, it seems likely he'll miss out on the World Cup if an injury arises," Lee remarked.

"Looks like he is sore in the same spot," Langer informed the host broadcaster after the match. "His rehab has been flawless. He has bowled without any pain for the last week or so and has appeared in great shape. We will have a scan and find out tomorrow."

Mayank, who took 1 for 31 in 3.1 overs on Tuesday, had a remarkable start to the IPL, claiming six wickets in his first two games before being sidelined due to abdominal soreness.
