NME: How do you personally relate to the other Smiths?

Morrissey: Very, very strongly. Let it be said here and now that I'm massively dedicated to them as individuals, to the point of love. Obviously with Johnny, I feel very defensive about our relationship. Some things have to be shielded, but the dedication I feel to him is quite solid and impregnable.
